For this project we went off of a worksheet to match each requested lighting adjustment.
Photography Lighting
Contrast
for our final project, we focused on contrast. The two different types were subject and color. Examples of color contrast red and blue, yellow and purple, and yellow and green. Subject contrast are things such as smooth and textures, young and old, and little and big.
leading lines
For this project, we focused on leading lines. A leading line is a line that appears in a photo to draw the viewers eye to a main subject
Angles
Angles focus on the degree that camera points toward a subject. This project we were challenged to use different angles in our photos.
Rule of thirds/Golden ratio
Rule of thirds is a framing technique that divides your photo into an equal 3 by 3 grid. Rule of thirds places your subject on a line towards the side to create a pleasant visual finish.
Clear Subject
For this project we were asked to take photos with a clear subject. This means that when you look at the picture, you can immediately tell where your focus goes to. We were also informed to try to eliminate distractions in the background.
