For this I chose to focus on the Native Americas and I made a dream catcher.

Socials Issues
For this project, we focused on one social issue that we feel is important and create a painting to draw attention to said issue. I focused on climate change and the way society doesn't take care of our enviornment the way we should. My painting is supposed to appear as mother nature sitting in a bathtub full of trash. The background would be full of factories, skyskrappers, and smoke. I never finished this painting and I don't think it has much potential lol. But a 120 in the grade book as a 0 is not looking too good right now
Final Project
For my final project, I did a water color painting of a sun and a moon. Something I struggled with is the facial expressions on the moon. I've never really experienced with side profiles until now. I'm happy with the outcome, I think that the watercolor looks very pretty on the sunrays.
Crochet
Here is a simple chain I crocheted
over sized charcoal drawing
For this project, I chose to draw my best friend, my little cat :) Her name is melah in case you were wondering lol. I honestly really liked this project and I have never done anything this large scale. Even though my drawing doesn't look exactly like the refernece photo, I'm proud of myself with the value I used.

fauvism
Fauvism is an artist style uses a realistic drawing with unrealistc colors. I chose to base my drawing off of a picture of a young girl i foound online. I incorporated sun rays to make my project more unique. I struggled with the lips but I love my final result. One thing I would do different is keep the back of my paper clean to ensure nothing bleeding through my picture.
SKETCH BOOK
The first project I made in art 3 was my sketchbook. I first decorated my end pages then chose some fabric for my cover. I cut a pocket out of a pair of recycled jeans and sewed some fabric for a fun look. I used fabric glue to stick my pocket to the front cover of my book. I painted the back cover then proceeded to use the Japanese stab binding technique to mend my book together. I made my book open from the opposite side as a normal book to add some personal uniques.
